The monthly Club meeting was held on the 7th of May. All Officers and Board members were present.

Treasurers Report: A report is posted at the club.

We’re off and running. This year's Bowhunter Weekend promises to be loaded with fun! Most committees chairs have been filled. Don’t find yourself left out, please volunteer for a committee today. Dan Conrad plans to asked Chris Rowe, Pro Staffer for Primos, to give an elk calling seminar Saturday evening. The board has decided that one day pay backs will not be offered at this years shoot. All one day shooters will be allowed to shoot the course at hunter class prices. There will be no change in the two day payouts. For more information, contact any CFA Board member.

The Access Yes shoots drew 101 shooters, that donated $1720 to G&F's Access Yes Program. This year, CFA challenge the Bowhunters of Wyoming to match our donation. BOW jumped on board with a commitment of $1200. With these donations, the G&F will be able to obtain more access for sportsmen statewide. Hats off to CFA and BOW.

Mark you calendar for June 16th. CFA will host a field shoot at Curt Gowdy State Park. This shoot is open to all shooters and should be a lot of fun. Try you hand shooting marked yardage targets ranging from 5 to 80 yards! For more information, talk to Mike Hoover or see the flyer posted in the club or click on the calendar.

Also, mark your calendar for the carp shoot on June 24th. Registration will be from 6am to 7am at the Grayrocks boat ramp. Weigh in will be from 4pm till 4:30pm. This year CFA will be offering dinner after the shoot. So dig out your carp bows, call all your friends, and plan on a full day of fun! A flyer is in the Club or you can click on the calendar.

The Club will be having it’s annual Curt Gowdy work party May 16th at 5pm. Bring a friend, gloves, and shovel. Work parties at Curt Gowdy usually last 2- 3 hours. Come out and enjoy some fresh air and help maintain this great outdoor range. Tell the folks at the front gate you are with the work party for free admission.

Tuesday and Thursday 3D leagues are running. The Sunday league will be stopping for the summer. Take some time to attend and catch the fun.

Photos of any archery event, archery hunting or club functions are needed. Please email the photos to the webmaster found at www.cheyennefieldarchers.com.
